| CRUISING IN LOCH NESS |
| The 'MV Lord of the Glens' is quite simply the only passenger vessel that is able to both navigate the Scottish inland waterways of the Caledonian Canal and the open sea. To make this possible the vessel was designed to meet exacting criteria in terms of its dimensions and to satisfy the stringent safety requirements of the British Maritime authorities. To this end during the year 2000 Spanish craftsmen re-constructed the vessel using the finest materials and equipment. For those who like technical details it has a maximum length of 150 feet and beam (width) of 34.5 feet together with a draft of 10.5 feet. In appearance the vessel has the elegant appeal of a luxury yacht with all-round teak-clad viewing and promenade decks and rich mahogany interiors. |
